Since 1979, my wife and I have lived near Elko, Nevada, working primarily as geologists (which we have graduate degrees in). We enjoy outdoor activities and live within sight of the Ruby Mountains. Northeast Nevada is not like Las Vegas! We have also had the opportunity to travel about to a variety of places around the world over the years. After working as an exploration geologist, I spent most of my career with Great Basin College in Elko, with centers scattered throughout the outback of Nevada. I retired in 2016.

I would have liked to attend the reunion and visit people I haven't seen in a long time, but we had to help with the care of a grandkid while another was arriving at that time. I guess that took priority. Everybody take care!
